This is a delightfully simple recipe.
Ingredients

Unbleached flour

6 oz |
Unsalted butter |
• |
5 tbsp |
Powdered sugar |
• |
½ tsp |
Sea salt |
Preparation

Preheat oven to 300°F. |

Mix all ingredients in a food processor. The dough will be loose and look like coarse cornmeal. |

Press the dough into a 9 in. (or equivalent size) buttered baking dish. Prick top all ocer with a fork, about 1 inch part. |

Bake in oven until shortbread is a pale golden brown on the edges, approximately 30 to 40 minutes. |

Cool and cut into required shapes. |
Additional Information
It tastes even better when the shortbread is "aged" for a day or two in a closed container.
